Aislinn Hasty

Internationally Trained Midwife, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBC), Certified Lactation Educator (CLE)

Aislinn is an internationally-registered Midwife, a CAPPA-trained Lactation Educator, and a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. She’s also a qualified KG Hypnobirthing teacher and DONA-trained Postnatal Doula. She is currently studying to write her IBCLC exam spring of 2024!

Aislinn supported her first birth as a student midwife at the age of 17 and has been in love with all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum, ever since! She completed her Bachelor of Science in Midwifery (with honours) in 2014 that involved work experience across 3 large hospitals in Ireland. Soon after graduating, she moved to London and began working in a large teaching-hospital on a high-risk unit. Over 3 years, she grew her skillset in providing prenatal, labour and postpartum care.

In 2018, Aislinn moved to Ontario and began working in Lactation Education, operating a breast pump rental service for a postpartum services company. She met people on all walks of their breast / chest feeding journeys, dealing with multiple numerous feeding complexities. Low milk supply, oversupply, inducing lactation, surrogate families, people with medical complications. She loves being able to find the missing piece or pieces of the puzzle with families in order to make their feeding experience successful for them.

In 2020, Aislinn welcomed her daughter to the world. She was humbled by her journey through pregnancy, birth, postpartum and breastfeeding. It has strengthened her knowledge and compassion, having personally experienced numerous complex lactation issues (tethered oral ties, low milk supply, nipple shields, triple feeding, bodywork, the list goes on..) Aislinn’s mission is to use her clinical and personal experiences to help others navigate their way to success - whatever that may look like for them!
